How to create a Spelling Word Scramble
All you need to do is grab a sheet of paper and your child’s spelling list.
Simply mix up the letters in each of the words and write them down on your sheet of paper.
It seems like it should take a long time, but it really doesn’t. It took me around 5 minutes to create this list of 10 words.
Don’t make it complicated. Just mix up the letters. Cross off each letter as you write them down to keep track of what letters you’ve used. But, I discovered that four and five letters words are really not difficult to mix up.
It’s Game Time!
Have your child try to unscramble the letters to find their spelling words.
It will give them a chance pay attention to the letters in each word and how they fit together.
This is a fun and a nice change from all the traditional ways to practice spelling words.
Your puzzle-loving kids will enjoy practicing their spelling words with a spelling word scramble.
