In January of 2015, my girls and I started on a lengthy project. Our plan was to learn a little about each country in the world and create an art project inspired by each. We would learn about the world via books and the internet.
This will be a slow process, especially since I don’t want it to be a stressful process. (Because what fun is a stressful project?) I’ll be sharing each art project along the way, along with any extras, such as book lists, if they come about.
You’ll find a comprehensive list here of all the countries we visit on our artistic journey around the world.
Albania – 3-D Colorful Buildings
Algeria – Prehistoric Rock Paintings (Top right)
Andorra – Puff Paint Ski Mountains
Angola – Clay African Baskets
Antigua & Barbuda – Watercolor and Salt Beach Scenes
Armenia – Illuminated Manuscript Initials
Austria – Painting on Music (Bottom right)
Azerbaijan – Becoming Architects: Creating Clay Buildings
Bahrain – Clay Seals
